Before your test
Run the system check, have your photo ID ready, and review your organization's test rules.
Access your test
Use the launch link from your scheduling email up to 15 minutes before your appointment.
Authenticate your identity
Take a photo of your ID, a selfie, and complete four scans of your testing area.
Take your exam
Connect to a proctor, complete your test in the Secure Browser, and end the session.

Before your test
Four things to do before launch day so check-in goes smoothly.
- Book your test using the link provided by your organization
- Have your photo identification ready (note: military ID's and credit cards are not allowed)
- Make sure you comply with the test rules provided by your organization
- Review video walk-through of the testing experience
Accessing your test
You’ll see prompts between clicking the link and authentication. First-time users will install the Secure Browser; returning users launch directly.
Launch your test via the link provided by your organization or as part of your booking confirmation email
Your launch link will be activated up to 15 minutes before your assigned appointment time. If you do not have this link, please contact your organization.
Confirm test launch
Install/download Secure Browser
First time users will be prompted to Install Secure Browser while returning test-takers will Launch Test.
Save and run your download
Accept the license agreement
Select the appropriate camera and microphone
This prompt may not appear if you have only one camera and one microphone.
A bandwidth check will run in the background
If you do not have sufficient bandwidth, you will receive the below message. You can try using a different computer, taking the test in a different location, restarting your network, or making sure others are not using excessive bandwidth on your connection.
Test your microphone by speaking out loud
A security check will prompt you to close any prohibited processes you currently have running according to your test rules
You can close the programs immediately with the “Terminate This Application” or close them manually before rechecking. Make sure your picture is visible and the name on the ID is readable. If the picture is unclear, you are able to retake the photo.

Authenticate your identity
Six quick steps so the proctor can confirm it’s you and your space is ready.
Take a picture of your photo ID
Make sure your picture is visible and the name on the ID is readable. If the picture is unclear, you are able to retake the photo.
Take a selfie
Make sure your picture is visible and the name on the ID is readable. If the picture is unclear, you are able to retake the photo.
Provide a 360° room scan
Starting with the camera facing the left wall, rotate in a full circle (360°) to show all four walls of the room.
Provide a floor to ceiling room scan
Starting with the camera facing the floor beneath your exam space, scan upwards to the ceiling.
Provide a self scan for accessories
Show front and back of wrists, both ears and glasses (if applicable).
Provide a desk surface scan
Show the desk surface area, including under your laptop and keyboard (if applicable). Lastly, show your cellphone to the webcam and place it out of reach behind you.
Taking your test
You’re connected. From here, it’s just the test.
Wait while you are connected to a proctor
Select and enter your test within the PSI Secure Browser
Depending on your test driver, entry into your test may look slightly different than the below test.
Complete your test and submit your answers in the test driver
End proctoring session by clicking the "End Proctoring Session" button and confirm you want to permanently end your test
