Global Leader in Testing Solutions and foremost paramedic regulator in Canada increase testing accessibility across Canada
(GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA) — PSI Services LLC (PSI), a leading provider of high-stakes testing solutions, announced today its selection by the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR) as the trusted test development and delivery partner for the administration of the COPR Entry to Practice Examinations, effective November 2023. The partnership leverages PSI’s expertise for the development and administration of COPR’s examinations, making the exam more convenient and accessible for test takers across Canada.
Following a comprehensive request for proposal process, the Selection Committee at COPR determined that PSI Services was exceptionally well-suited to develop, administer, and advance the COPR examination program. COPR Executive Director Chelsea Wilker stated, “COPR and the entire Examination Team are looking forward to working with PSI and its leading-edge practices in testing development and psychometrics.”
PSI will be doing full test development with COPR for all their examination programs and testing will be available to test takers in November. Testing will be made available to test takers by live online proctoring via PSI’s propriety platform PSI Bridge, and for test takers that require accommodations via its test centre network. PSI takes pride in their comprehensive and well-established test centre network across Canada. This network ensures accessibility and convenience for test takers, while maintaining the utmost integrity and security of COPR’s examinations.
PSI has long been a leader in the design and delivery of online proctoring solutions and continues to innovate online proctoring for both low and high stakes testing globally. PSI Bridge™ provides online proctoring with customizable test security, lock-down browser capabilities, candidate identity authentication, reporting, and analytics.
“We are delighted to have been selected by COPR as their full-service test provider,” remarked Isabelle Gonthier, Chief Assessment Officer at PSI. “This partnership is a testament to PSI’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality assessment solutions to the Canadian market. We are looking forward to working with COPR and interested parties in developing and delivering valid, reliable, and fair examinations.”
Test takers may begin scheduling with PSI on October 18th and begin testing on November 15th.
